Retrofabrikken works with selected classic Danish design furniture with a focus on quality, authenticity and good craftsmanship. We have many years of experience in assessing, communicating and preparing furniture for both the Danish and international markets.
Today Retrofabrikken functions as curator and collaborator for export customers and auction houses, where each piece of furniture is selected with respect for design history and materials.

Palle – CEO and day-to-day director.
Is a geek with strategy, marketing and finance.
Fun fact: Palle is a magician and hynotist and tours almost every weekend.
Benn – Permanent Saturday shift and buyer
Benn's brain is full of knowledge about Danish design, and he is always good for a chat.
Fun fact: Benn loves dogs and is the boss's regular dog sitter.
Rikki – Preparation
Rikki plays a key role in preparing our furniture. He prepares each piece of furniture for photography and makes sure everything is in tip-top shape before it is sent to the photography department. Rikki is known for his smiling face and always positive energy, and he brings both hard work and good humor to our team. Fun fact: Rikki is our super buyer and can find everything for sale online.
Kent – valuation expert and purchasing manager
Kent is our validation manager, and is responsible for everything regarding appraisals and he also helps museums and renowned auction houses. Fun fact: Kent is a sucker for Rock n' roll and listens to it non-stop in his free time wearing cool sunglasses.
Uni – Marketing manager
Uni is responsible for several important areas at Retrofabrikken. She is responsible for all marketing and also takes care of photography, updates to the website, the store, SEO and handling our SoMe channels. A real octopus
Fun fact: Uni has our little office dog with everyday life – the food-loving Agnes who spreads joy among colleagues and customers every day.
Craig – SoMe
Our SoMe man who frolics on Instagram and Facebook, and makes sure that our customers always have something to laugh about on the phone.
Fun fact: Craig is actually a trained architect.
Malene – Accounting
Malene is responsible for the accounts at Retrofabrikken and keeps track of the finances. She makes sure that all the numbers are correct and has a keen eye for detail, so that the company is always on the right track financially.
Fun fact: Malene's table is always full of healthy snacks and 6-7 meals per workday are easily achieved.
Simon – Cabinetmaker
Simon can work with all kinds of wood and specializes in veneer work. Simon also often lends a hand to his other three colleagues in the warehouse when things get tough. Fun fact: Simon wears a woolen hat with ear flaps until 1/5, following the motto: a warm head makes a warm mind.
